Who handles your information
Gibson Electrical Ltd, trading through its ProjectLens 360 service, is the controller for enquiry and business-contact information. For privacy questions or rights requests contact hello@projectlens360.co.uk.
What we collect and why
If you contact us, we receive your email address, contact details, message and any attachments. We use these to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote and manage correspondence. For business-contact enquiries we rely on legitimate interests in responding to prospective customers and managing business relationships. Where you personally seek to enter a contract, necessary pre-contractual processing may apply. Legal obligations apply where records must be retained by law. Contact information and enough detail to understand your request are needed to respond; other information is optional.
How this website works
The enquiry form prepares an email in your own email app. It does not submit or store the form on a website server; you must send the email yourself. An image selected in the sample viewer remains in your browser and is not uploaded. No analytics or advertising scripts or non-essential cookies have been added to this site. We do not make automated decisions or profile you.
Service providers
Business email is provided through 123 Reg / Titan. Cloudflare manages domain DNS and, when serving this website, may process technical connection information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect it. Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers or authorities where necessary and lawful. We do not sell enquiry information.
These providers may operate internationally. Any restricted international transfer must use an applicable adequacy arrangement or appropriate contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data. Project hosting and file-processing arrangements will be explained separately before files are accepted.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry correspondence while needed to answer your request and manage any resulting relationship. We review it when the enquiry is closed and delete information no longer needed, taking account of ongoing discussions, applicable record-keeping duties and justified dispute handling. A booking will have its own documented project-file and backup retention arrangements; an enquiry does not include indefinite storage.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where consent is used, it can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need to confirm your identity. Contact hello@projectlens360.co.uk; you may also complain to the ICO.
Project photographs
Please do not send unnecessary personal or sensitive information with an enquiry. Where future project work involves identifiable people, we will confirm controller/processor roles, instructions, security, providers and retention before processing. Permission to photograph a site is separate from a lawful basis for handling personal data.
